UNEP

This rapid response report has for the first time mapped the multiple and combined impacts of pollution, alien infestation, over-exploitation and climate change on the seas and oceans.

The worst concentration of cumulative impacts of climate change with existing pressures of over-harvest, bottom trawling, invasive species, coastal development and pollution appears to be concentrated in 10-15 percent of the oceans concurrent with today’s most important fishing grounds.

GLOBIO contribution

A forecast of the increase of human development along coasts. The increase of human development suggests increased pressure on marine coastal biodiversity.
